This arched front entertainment center was designed following the clients requirements.
When we first met with the client this was a blank big wall the had a store-bought TV stand and x box and the normal electronics for entertainment.
The wanted to install an electric fire place. They want to build a unit that would incorporate the fireplace mantle and box. They wanted to have display space and all of the electrical equipment stored behind doors. They also want a spot over the over the fire place for the TV. After discussing a variety of options they decided on this design.
This wall is fourteen feet wide and ten feet high so we had plenty of space to work with. The unit is made of Maple and Maple plywood. With the back of the upper display units being made of bead board. The lower cabinets has shelves behind doors and the door panels are bead board as well. All of the lower cabinets were made to accommodate wiring and the cabinets are vented. The upper units were also made to provide for wiring. The unit features an arched front, crown and base molding. The center section behind the TV is designed to allow for the exhaust from the fire place. As well as providing space for all of the TV cables as well as power outlets for the TV and fireplace.
